Installation and Wiring of LED Wall Washer Lights
Installation:
Wall washer lights are equipped with mounting brackets. Since both position and distance are adjustable, all you need to do is prepare the expansion screws at the installation site and then secure the lamp bracket. If it's flat ground, you can simply place it on the ground without worrying about theft prevention.
Wiring: Use configurations like 6 series of 4 groups or 4 series of 6 groups. Due to
LED circuits, especially high-power ones, cannot be directly operated with constant voltage, so it's impossible to control the current which might be too high or too low. In such scenarios, a low-voltage constant current driver should be used. You can use two drivers, each with three groups of outputs (similar to RGB driver power supplies), to ensure the current is fundamentally uniform across each group (series).
First, install a current-limiting resistor on the negative pole of the power supply.
Then separate the positive and negative wires of the LED strip.
Use a wire stripper to remove the positive wire of the LED strip.
The positive wire of the LED lamp is stripped.
Connect the negative wire of the power supply to the positive wire of the LED strip.
Next, use a current-limiting resistor to connect the LED's negative lead.
After completing the above steps, finish wiring the LED light.
Turn on the LED switch for testing; if the LED lights up, the wiring process is correct.
